Meet Dr. Robert Wolfenden
Robert Wolfenden, DDS
In order to be a great dentist, I must personalize each treatment to meet the specific needs of a patient. Everyone has different health needs as well as unique expectations and personal preferences. As I treat a patient, I get to know them personally, and have made many close friends in the course of my career. The personal connections I have with my patients makes being a dentist truly rewarding for me, and I enjoy coming to work every day.
Education and Continuing Education
I graduated with my DDS from the University of Tennessee, but my real dental education had been attained through serving patients since 1982. I learn as much as I can about the most proven and effective dental treatments so I can ensure that my patients always receive the best of care. I continue to sharpen my skills and expand my knowledge through continuing education courses and professional study clubs.

In the Practice
My job allows me to help people every day. Each appointment offers a new opportunity to help a patient, and I love helping people realize that coming to the dentist can actually be a good thing! I also love the challenge of my job, as no two patients are alike, so there is constantly a challenge to present the best treatment available.
The health and happiness of my patients are my highest priorities. I take the time to establish trust with each patient, and to find out what they want out of their dental home. I truly care about the people I serve, and always want to exceed their expectations for great care. My wife, son and I work together to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere where patients can feel comfortable and rely on us for the highest quality dentistry.
Family and Community
I grew up in Athens, Tennessee, and have lived and practiced dentistry in Trinity since 1996. My lovely wife, Lestina, also works in the office. When I am not in the office I love sailing, running, kayaking, and going to the beach. I am also an elder in Generations Christian Church, which allows me to keep close to those that I help everyday. Additionally, I volunteer for the Good Samaritans Clinic and Give Kids a Smile events.
